We’re often asked, “How long will my design project take?” It’s a fair question — and one without a simple, one-size-fits-all answer. The truth is, every design is unique. From the size of the space to the scope of work and the availability of materials, timelines can vary quite a bit. That said, here’s a closer look at what you can generally expect when you embark on a design journey with us.

1. Discovery & Vision (1–2 weeks)

Once your proposal is approved, the contract is signed, and the first payment made, we officially begin! You’ll receive a welcome guide and a questionnaire to help us better understand your lifestyle, preferences, and how you want your home to feel. This stage is all about getting to know you and laying the foundation for what’s to come.

2. Design Development (4–6 weeks)

Now the creative magic begins. We start with inspiration boards — usually shared via Pinterest — to ensure we’re perfectly aligned on the overall vision. Once we’ve captured your style and direction, we move into the detailed design phase, developing layouts, colour palettes, and sourcing key pieces.

This is where your project really starts to take shape, but patience is key — thoughtful design takes time and care.

3. Revisions & Finalization (1–2 weeks)

Your feedback is incredibly important. We’ll make any tweaks or adjustments needed so the design feels entirely “you.” Once you’re thrilled with the final look, we’ll prepare the approved plans and confirm all the specifications before moving forward.

4. Procurement & Sourcing (4–12 weeks)

Here’s where things often require a bit of waiting. Once everything’s approved, we move into ordering and managing all the logistics — from custom furnishings to bespoke window treatments. Lead times can vary widely depending on suppliers, production schedules, and shipping, particularly for bespoke or imported items.

We’ll keep you updated weekly so you know exactly where things stand.

5. Installation & Styling (1–2 weeks)

This is where it all comes together — your very own HGTV moment, if you will! Our team coordinates deliveries, oversees installation, and styles every last detail so your space looks flawless. From fluffing the cushions to adjusting artwork, every finishing touch is handled with care.
